Tonya Hall, the literacy and education director with Rebuild Communities, said that she is ready to work with residents to change their perception of education. "My goal is to enhance the educational opportunities for those that have dropped out of high school and feel education isn't as important." Hall is a veteran educator who has been an instructor at multiple institutions such as Durham Technical Community College and North Carolina Central University.
